Rental rates range from $50 to $125+ per hour—depending on the size and scale of your event.
Our three sliding scale rates have been made possible, thanks to our members, donors & grantors:
$50 per hour for Future Front Members and/or community events for less than 30 guests
$75 per hour for Future Front Members and/or community events for less than 50 guests
$125+ per hour for events exceeding 100 guests
EVERY RENTAL INCLUDES:

The Future Front House offers a 1000 sq. ft. space for five to 100 guests.

At The Future Front House, we provide chairs for 40, as well as two banquet tables and a portable PA system for amplified sound.

Beyond the paid parking lot, the area is surrounded by complimentary street parking access, as well as accessible bus stops.

With connection to a bathroom, The Future Front House features a 500 ft. room that can be used for storage, as a green room or a craft room for messier workshops and hands-on experiences.

As part of our commitment to healthier gatherings and safer spaces, The Future Front House is cleaned twice per week and the building’s HVAC is supplemented by a Co-Way Mega Air Filtration system to reduce pollutants and germs in the air.

As part of The Future Front House’s commitment to creative community co-location, The House includes optional access to a permanent retail experience for women and LGBTQ+ creative businesses. Currently, this side of the space is home to The Little Gay Shop and Redeemer Small Batch.

We offer a creative space donation program for historical, former and current East Austin residents, as well as public events that provide a distinct community benefit aligned with our mission. Through this program, we waive all associated rental fees for up to twenty events per year. To apply, simply indicate your interest when submitting your rental request.
*All rentals support direct costs for us to stay open & offer free, public programming, too.

The Future Front House is run by women & LGBTQ+ creatives — open to all.
Through The Future Front House and our flagship programs, we hope to continue creating opportunities for artists and creatives, funding community cultural events, developing community-building educational resources, offering subsidized access to space & nurturing free, public arts programming.
We also hope to live up to the legacy of our block. From soil to cement, our building has a long history that precedes us. We acknowledge and honor Austin’s Black Cultural District, the diverse Indigenous peoples and all elders—past, present and future—who have shaped and continue to shape this land on which we gather. We invite you to celebrate their active cultural contributions, causes and traditions, too. Make space and tend good relations here and now.
